Biography
Tim grew up on his family farm, 20 miles east of Lloydminster, near where the McMillan family homesteaded more than 100 years ago. It was in these formative years on the farm that the spark of political interest was lit and fostered in a family that was very involved in their community.
Tim was elected in the 2007 and 2011 general elections. Previous to his first election as an MLA, Tim operated an oilfield service company. His understanding of both the oil industry and agricultural sector coupled with his background in economics, make Tim the ideal representative for Lloydminster as an economic powerhouse in Saskatchewan.
In June 2010, Tim joined the provincial cabinet as Minister Responsible for Crown Investments Corporation, Saskatchewan Government Insurance, Information Services Corporation, and the Information Technology Office. In September 2010, Tim was also appointed as the Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority.
Tim and his wife Ali, have two daughters, Reilly and Gracie.
