On Tuesday, April 10, the 2018-19 Saskatchewan provincial budget was presented in the Assembly.

The Assembly adopted the budget motion on April 18. Next in the budget process, the legislative committees examined all the estimates in detail.
On May 7, the Assembly adopted resolutions for interim supply and passed Bill No. 130—The Appropriation Act, 2018 (No. 1). This bill provided interim funding for some government programs before the Assembly voted on the main Appropriation Bill.
On May 29, the legislative committees completed their examination of the estimates and reported them to the Assembly. The following day, the Assembly adopted Bill No. 131 - The Appropriation Act, 2018 (No. 2), which authorizes finds to be paid out of the general revenue fund.
