The Hon. Russ Mirasty, M.S.M. is Saskatchewan’s 23rd Lieutenant Governor, which is the Queen’s representative and the head of state. Mr. Mirasty served for 36 years with the RCMP, serving in many roles including Director General of National Aboriginal Policing Services and Commanding Officer of “F” Division (Saskatchewan). He is the recipient of the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and Diamond Jubilee Medals, as well as the Meritorious Service Medal.

On Wednesday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m., he was installed as Lieutenant Governor in the legislative Chamber. You can watch the video of the ceremony.
