Tours of the Legislative Building are available seven days a week with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, and Good Friday. The tours last approximately 30 minutes and are free of charge.
Daily from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- 4:30 p.m. in summer (Victoria Day to Labour Day)
- 4:00 p.m. in winter (closed 12:00 p.m.- 1:00 p.m.)
Tours of the Legislative Building focus on the architecture and history of the building. For a tour group of 10 or more people, please book ahead.
Photographs of the building are permitted on tour except in the Chamber if the Assembly is sitting. Video recording and the use of selfie sticks or tripods are not permitted.
Individuals with Disabilities
Tours are fully accessible. Enter through the Prince of Wales entrance at the front of the building. There are wheelchairs and assistive listening devices available. If you are booking a tour in advance, please inform us of any other special requirements you may have.
Self-Guided Outdoor Walking Tour
The outdoor walking tour is self-guided, and provides a wonderful way to discover points of historical interest on the grounds near the Legislative Building. Every point on this tour is within sight of the building, and the tour is typically completed within 45 minutes. Pick up a copy of the walking tour in the entrance hall at the Legislative Building. The route is also fully accessible.

The Saskatchewan Legislative Building welcomes wedding photography. On a first come, first served basis, sessions are booked at the top of the hour for a maximum of two hours. All wedding parties must arrange their own photographer.
The grand staircase, rotunda and Prince of Wales entrance provide beautiful settings and are approved locations for photos. Fill out the form to reserve a session in advance.
