The Second Session of the Twenty-Eighth Legislature resumed on March 12, 2018. The Assembly's first order of business was to elect a new Speaker.The 2018-19 provincial budget was presented on April 10, 2018.The Assembly's parliamentary calendar sets out the complete sitting schedule for the 28th Legislature.

The Assembly's regular hours are Monday and Tuesday 1:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (recess from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.), Wednesday 1:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
