The Standing Committee on Human Services has conducted public hearings to make recommendations to improve the rate of organ and tissue donation in Saskatchewan.

On May 19, 2016, the Assembly ordered the committee to conduct the inquiry, which began on Thursday, June 2, 2016 when the Minister of Health appeared before the committee.

The committee held meetings in Regina on September 6 and 7, and in Saskatoon on September 12 and 13 to hear from groups and individuals who offered their views on this important subject. The records of the committee's work are in the Legislative Meeting Archive.

The committee reported its recommendations to the Assembly on November 28, 2016.
