Lesson Plans

For elementary and secondary teachers, we have created multiple lesson plans to prepare your students for their tour of the Legislative Building and to digest the information after their tour. Book your class visit today! 

Even if you don’t take a tour, the lessons are great to introduce younger students to concepts like government and democracy. For older students, the lessons can deepen their understanding of how government works and the role it plays in citizens’ lives.
