His Honour the Lieutenant Governor opened the Second Session of the Twenty-Ninth Legislature with the Speech from the Throne on October 27, 2021.

The Assembly elected a Deputy Speaker on October 28.

The parliamentary calendar indicates the sitting dates for the Second Session of the 29th Legislature.

The Assembly's regular hours:

  • Monday and Tuesday 1:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (recess from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.),
  • Wednesday 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and
  • Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

All visitors to the Legislative Building must wear a mask and provide proof of vaccination or a negative test for COVID-19.

Learn about Saskatchewan's history with a free tour in English or French. Our fun and interesting guided visit of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building offers a glimpse of the Assembly's work, as well as a history of the building's construction.

Tours are available seven days a week.
