The Assembly has been dissolved, and a provincial general election will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024. Elections Saskatchewan provides information on where and how to vote.
The dissolution of the Assembly means that all seats of the Assembly are vacant. There are no longer any MLAs and all business before the Assembly and standing committees is terminated.
The Speaker, Deputy Speaker, and the Members of the Board of Internal Economy continue in office for a prescribed period of time. Members of the Executive Council, including the Premier and Ministers, continue in office until the Lieutenant Governor appoints a new administration.
