Television Channels

 

The proceedings of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan are available live, in their entirety, across the province via live video stream, local cable companies, and SaskTel Max. Find your legislative channel here. 

The live and archived broadcast of the Assembly's proceedings now includes closed captioning. In the Chamber, guests can access a smart device that displays the closed captions of proceedings in real time. 

Live streaming video is available for mobile devices including iPad, iPhone, Android, and Blackberry. Just click the links above. NOTE: Internet Explorer will not play the live stream. Please use Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.

If you miss a live broadcast, video archives of the proceedings are available online. Permanent records are stored and maintained by the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan. Live television broadcast of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan began in March 1983.

Please note: Several legislative committees also meet in the Chamber from time to time.

The Assembly's regular hours:
- Monday and Tuesday 1:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (recess from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.)
- Wednesday 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The rules and restrictions developed and approved by Members of the Legislative Assembly regarding camera shot parameters in the Chamber can be found in Appendix 4 (page 48) of the Rules and Procedures of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan.
