
Jordan McPhail was first elected MLA for Cumberland in 2024. He is the opposition Shadow Minister for Northern Affairs, Forestry, and SaskTel, and Associate Shadow Minister for Corrections, Policing & Public Safety. He is also a member of the Standing Committee on Crown and Central Agencies.
Born and raised in La Ronge, Jordan is a proud community leader, father, and husband. He served as town councillor for seven years, including as chairperson for the regional fire department, board member of community organizations, and member of various committees within council bringing needed change and advocacy for his community.
Jordan is politically engaged because he believes that a strong northern voice will bring healthcare, opportunity, and respect to northern Saskatchewan. He is excited to continue the work of his predecessor.
