
Brent Blakley was first elected MLA for Regina Wascana Plains in 2024. He is the opposition Shadow Minister for Social Services.
He is a retired teacher who spent 35 years working in the education system with a variety of grades and school models. He brings experience and adaptability to everything he does and is passionate about the potential for Saskatchewan and the need for change.
Born and raised in Regina, Brent completed his education degree at the University of Regina. He has continued to give back to the community as a volunteer football and basketball coach, notably with the Sheldon-Williams Spartans and Regina Riot.
Brent has been married for 34 years and has four adult children. He is an avid woodworker, building custom furniture as a hobby.
