
Darcy Warrington was first elected MLA for Saskatoon Stonebridge in 2024. He is the opposition Shadow Minister for Parks, Culture and Sport.
Darcy and his wife Christina live in Stonebridge where they are raising their 6-year-old son, Miles. Darcy grew up in Marengo, Saskatchewan as the son of a farmer and a schoolteacher, graduating from Westcliffe Composite School in 2003. He attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 2008.
Darcy spent seventeen years teaching for Saskatoon Public Schools, where he taught students between kindergarten and grade 8 as a band, arts education, physical education, and homeroom teacher. Over the years, he has conducted SPS’s Junior East Winds and various jazz bands and coached and officiated for several volleyball, basketball, badminton, hockey, and track & field teams. In 2024, the Physical and Health Educators of Saskatchewan (PHE Sask) awarded him with the Local Initiative Award for engaging his students via the national Game Changers program and a successful grant application, bringing a circus arts program with materials to promote leadership and inclusiveness during instruction and in extra-curricular settings at wâhkôtowin School. Darcy has always prided himself in helping organize assemblies in schools focused on participation and involvement, creating memories and fun for all students at every turn.
Darcy has also been a part of three community associations as a rink volunteer, secretary, and indoor programs coordinator. He continues to serve on the board of the Stonebridge Community Association as being an active part of the community is of great importance to him. He also helps maintain the new outdoor rink that opened in December of 2024.
In his spare time, Darcy enjoys playing volleyball, golfing, and entertaining friends and family with his guitar and piano whenever the opportunity arises. He is humbled, honoured, and ready to serve the constituents of Saskatoon Stonebridge and the people of Saskatchewan.
