The Legislative Assembly Service (LAS) provides the administration and support services required for the operation of the Legislative Assembly. The LAS is non-partisan and provides confidential, unbiased service to all Members of the Legislative Assembly. Our mission is to foster a transparent, participatory democracy, with a team committed to supporting the institution of Parliament for the people of Saskatchewan.
The position of Legislative Page is a unique educational experience that provides the opportunity to play a role in the democratic traditions of the Saskatchewan parliamentary system. Legislative Pages learn first-hand about Saskatchewan’s parliament and legislative processes, meet key parliamentary and political figures, and are directly immersed in the democratic process. They carry out a variety of duties in and around the legislative Chamber, including collecting and distributing official documents, preparing for each sitting of the Legislative Assembly, and providing office support.
Legislative Pages work during the fall (mid-October to mid-December) and spring (early March to mid-May) sittings of the Assembly. The parliamentary calendar shows the Assembly's sitting dates.
