Current Status

The First Session of the Thirtieth Legislature will be prorogued on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Her Honour the Lieutenant Governor will open the Second Session that afternoon with the Speech from the Throne at 2:00 p.m.

The parliamentary calendar shows the full schedule of sitting days for the current session.

The Assembly’s regular hours are:

  • Monday and Tuesday 1:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. (recess from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.)
  • Wednesday 1:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Learn about Saskatchewan's history with a free tour in English or French. Our fun and interesting guided visit of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building offers a glimpse of the Assembly's work, as well as a history of the building's construction.
 
Tours are available seven days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

French tours are offered at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
