Officer Appointment

The Legislative Assembly has adopted a motion to appoint Grace Hession David as the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Saskatchewan, effective May 1, 2025.

The Information and Privacy Commissioner works to support the access to information and privacy rights of Saskatchewan citizens. The Commissioner oversees three Saskatchewan statutes: The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, The Local Authority Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and The Health Information Protection Act.
