Journals
The Journals is a compilation of the daily Votes and Proceedings (Minutes) of the Legislative Assembly, which are bound together with a comprehensive subject index at the end of a legislative session. It is considered the permanent official record of the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan.
By statute, the Legislative Assembly is a court and possesses all the rights, powers and privileges of a court of record. The Journals of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan is a legally recognized document which may be admitted as evidence in a court without needing to prove the authority of the Legislative Assembly.
