Mr. Terry Dennis - Government Caucus

Terry Dennis was first elected in 2016 as the MLA for the Canora-Pelly constituency and was re-elected in the 2020 provincial election.

Terry is the chair of the Intergovernmental Affairs and Justice Committee. He is also the Legislative Secretary for Ukraine Relations, and he serves on the Board of Internal Economy and the caucus Management Committee. He has previously served as Deputy House Leader, chair of the Crown and Central Agencies Committee, and the Legislative Secretary for Education. He has been a member of the Treasury Board, Public Sector Bargaining Committee, and the Crime Reduction Committee.

Terry was born and raised in Canora, Saskatchewan, where he and his wife Lorri raised their three children. He was the co-owner of Dennis Foods for 34 years and has been an active volunteer in his community. He has held various executive positions with Canora minor sports and has dedicated much of his time to coaching.

He has been in politics at the civic level as a member of local council for over 20 years. Terry has served his community as a councilman for 6 years, mayor for 14, and has been an active and committed volunteer of his community for many years. His involvement in municipal government has given him great experience and knowledge of local issues and shown him how to orchestrate successful resolutions. Terry spent 7 years on the SaskTel Board of Directors and is an active volunteer for various non-profit groups around the area.

Terry currently resides at Crystal Lake with his lovely wife. Even with a busy professional life, he still enjoys a round of golf, curling, traveling, and dedicating whatever free time he has to his three precious grandsons.
