Biography

Ken was born and raised on a family farm near Eatonia and has resided in Kindersley for the past 28 years with his wife Karen. They have three grown children.

Ken is a former grain producer in the Kindersley area. He has worked in the energy sector and in the public sector for SaskPower, SaskTel, SaskEnergy, TransGas, TransCanada Pipelines, and numerous oil and gas companies.

He has also served as a councillor and Deputy Mayor for the town of Kindersley and has owned and operated a successful and environmental consulting company.

Ken was first elected as MLA for Kindersley in a 2018 by-election, and he was re-elected in the 2020 provincial general election. He currently serves as Legislative Secretary for Trade and Export Development and is the Canadian vice-president on the Pacific NorthWest Economic Region (PNWER) executive and Saskatchewan representative for the North American Strategic Competitiveness Organization (NASCO).
